This pretty pendant is made from a piece of crinklized dichroic glass, topped with a layer of transparent striker glass. The top layer has changed the original gold-green colour of the base glass to a cheery, vibrant red. (You can see a faint layer of the green dichroic glass around the edges, which actually looks quite fetching!) The piece was fused again to melt a fern leaf of real 22-carat gold onto the surface.
The pendant measures 3cm x 2.5cm. It is attached to a gold-plated tube bail with a gold-plated curb chain ca. 45cm long, fastened with a simple trigger clasp.
