diamond earrings

These gorgeous European amethyst and diamond earrings were made around 1910, most likely in France or Belgium. The two deep, velvety amethyst are both surrounded by twelve fiery .05 carat Old European cut diamonds and have a combined weight of 1.85 carats. They are suspended from an elegant trefoil top containing 4 more Old European cut diamonds for a total of 32 diamonds with an approximate combined weight of 1.55 carats. In excellent condition, the earrings weigh 5.2 grams, test as 18k gold and measure 1/2 of an inch wide by 1 and 1/8th inches long.
